The Merry Month of March
As I was updating my “date book”, I realized what a great month I had. And while looking at the list of events, I learned that, unconsciously, I just said “yes” to every invitation or opportunity that I got.
It started with Gelo’s fabulous Thesis shoot with 4 Gays and a Funeral. That’s my brother Rocky! (left most) (Photo by Lee Caces)
And then I decided to join my parents in Boracay. You all know about that story from my last entry.
After getting back, I got offered to shoot a music video for a debutant. I met new people including silly boy Ivan (yes, the Katy Perry kid).
And another trip with my parents to Baguio this time. More about this trip soon!
After getting back from Baguio, Vikka and I finally had our teatime date! We’ve been wanting to go since November of last year but it was only last March that we pushed through with it only planning the day before!
Okay, the Bicol trip was planned but days before the trip Nailen asked if I could help out on a project and I said yes!
I also caught a rainbow this month. (The day of Lady Gaga’s birthday)
HANSON!!! The best decision I made for this month. My father got free tickets but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to watch. I was only a fan of the band 15 years ago (MmmBop and Penny and Me stage) but I thought that I could enjoy the show knowing that they are legit musicians. And so I took my friends to watch with me and…I should just stop myself now and just tell you how we all had a great time. (Also, I’ve been fangirling since!) It’s just too bad none of us had a decent camera. Anyway, the memory is with me forever…
And for the last day of this month, I had plans on attending a meeting in the afternoon and writing all night. But as how things have happened, the day went differently. I dropped by Gino’s set for his Cinemalaya full-length to show some love but I ended up acting for one scene. I missed my meeting but helping out in a film is always a fun thing for me to do! :)
I still spent the rest of the night writing and then…what always happens, another surprise.
SO, I think what i’m really trying to say is, I enjoyed spontaneity last month and it took me to great heights (literally and figuratively) and brought me surprises! It feels good to go with the flow but I know I can’t live like this forever. In the next months, plans will and should be made but I will always be open for changes and opportunities are always welcome!
Anyway, plans or no plans, I always hope and visualize better things to come! Have a great day, have a great April!! :)
